Mentor requirements and expectations
PLEASE note we will have a mentor class once we have seven people registered for the class - thank you
Requirements
You will be the first person the VET goes to if he or she has a question or need.
Never ever offer legal advice, you are not an attorney. If you are unsure reach out to the mentor coordinator.
Graduates from MCJC VTC are encouraged to apply.
You must be a Veteran to be a mentor.
You must recertify every two years.
Expectations
Return calls or emails from a Vet within 24 hours.
Treat Vets the way you want to be treated.
If you have a personality conflict with the Vet let the coordinator know for re assignment.
NOTE: Mentors serve at the pleasure of the President of VetSix and can be released from this position by the President at any time without explanation.
